as background drawing practice, you might be able to tell I'm just drawing everything around me - easy reference! this is my fire escape. it is many kinds of escape.

checked out the variations, all vary good. they almost look like different times of day. how long were you out there playing on that lil gomeboy?

Your perspective work looks really good. I really love how much thought and emotion comes through your style. I liked how the candid pose and surroundings match together really fluidly.

I can see your dilemma on color, the other two pictures were equally as relaxing. I preferred the other two pictures that weren't posted, the more twilight feel gave a lot more calm and emotion to it, and they seemed less cheerful like this one and more thoughtful. All of them were very pleasing to look at, depending on what mood I was interested in.

thanks! I like the other two color schemes too, but something about them just felt a little bit forced. maybe I will return to this a bit later and try again.

I think you picked the best color variation - although I like the third one also, it looks like the same scene at nighttime. beautiful drawing, it makes me feel like I've just walked out onto this little moment :)
